Tasting Notes
Mid to deep plum red in colour and of brilliant clarity. The nose shows dark berry fruits combined with savoury oak. The palate is rich and fruity and is supported with fine-grained grape tannins. The finish is long and with well balanced acidy.

Cellaring
3 to 5 years

Winemaking Notes
This wine was fermented in open top vats with twice-daily hand plunging followed by pressing and malo lactic in tank. This was followed by 24 months maturation in seasoned French oak barrels. Prior to bottling this wine received a light filtration.

Viticultural Notes
2004 was warm and dry producing fruit with excellent colour and flavour.
