Tasting Notes
This wine is deep plum red in colour with a purple edge. The nose shows rich plum fruit combined with spice with hints of toasty oak. The palate is soft and fruity with fine grape tannins and good acid balance.

Cellaring
This wine will continue to drink well over the next 5 years.

Winemaking Notes
This wine was fermented in open top vats with twice-daily hand plunging followed by pressing and malo lactic in tank. Oak maturation has been kept to a minimum to enhance fruit flavours while still providing some oak sweetness and tannin. Early bottling has preserved the primary fruit flavours.

Viticultural Notes
A warm summer followed by a mild and sunny autumn produced finely structured grapes with excellent flavour definition. .
