Tasting Notes
Rich plum red with a touch of purple. The nose shows dark berry fruits combined with spice and earthy notes. Careful oak maturation has added softness and complexity to the palate while preserving the berry fruit characters. There is a nice balance of acid and tannin that adds length and sweetness to the finish.

Cellaring
Enjoy in its youth or cellar for 3 to 5 years.

Winemaking Notes
The winemaking was aimed at capturing as much fruit flavour as possible while also building in softness and richness through a short period of oak maturation. Early bottling has preserved the primary fruit flavours.

Viticultural Notes
A warm summer followed by a mild and sunny autumn produced finely structured grapes with excellent flavour definition.
