Tasting Notes:
The Estate Pinot Gris opens with aromas of savoury spice, white florals and some flinty reduction. It’s a refreshing and yet texture-driven wine with notes of pear, white stone fruits and citrusy acids.
Winemaking Notes:
Picked on the 7th of March
Vinification & Elevage: Fruit sourced from a single vineyard in the Yea Valley. Fruit is crushed and pressed with solids to aged 500L puncheons. The wine remains on lees without sulphur until blending after 3 months prior to bottling.
Viticultural Notes:
2023 was a vintage where a wet spring provided challenges, yet through hard work and perseverance we enjoyed a mild and kind harvest period that has produced wines of vibrancy and finesse.
